The Agentic Future: AI Agent Weekly Analysis (7.8.25)
AI agent momentum continues as mindshare surges, capital rotates into standout performers like REKT and Virtuals, and new themes like physical AI, agent swarms, and coding agents emerge.
I’ll use a decade of traditional finance/corporate experience to refine the chaos into bite-sized chunks for you to digest

There are several notable themes coming through this week that overlap between traditional and decentralized AI.
Key Themes:
a) Physical AI
A humanoid at $50,000 is more economical than even a worker in India at $2/hour:
Robots won’t be for everyone, at least not over a short term timeframe:
But as LLMs and Robotics become part of the furniture I’m adamant that they will become interwoven with the fabrics of society.
b) Agentic Collaboration
Agent collaboration or swarms will be a huge unlock.
We’ve seen Virtuals launch its Agent Commerce Protocol (ACP) recently, which enables autononomous collaboration between agents within its network.
Agent to Agent collaboration is likely going to be what tips us over to AGI and ASI:
We also saw Sakana AI use several models to outperform that of a single model.
In this instance it used ChatGPT, Gemini, and DeepSeek to solve 30% of ARC-AGI-2 puzzles vs just 23% for top solo models:
c) Coding Agents
Coding agents are pegged to be one of the big disruptors.
If AI can write software effectively, then we could see it improve at an exponential rate; this productivity will be felt in the real world as it comes to fruition.
It’s no wonder that in “Trad-AI” land, Soham Parekh captures headlines as the Software Engineer moonlighting several full time tech jobs.
Perhaps he was using AI to max efficiency and deliver on multiple work commitments simultaneously:
Weekly Crypto AI Agent Price Analysis
a) Nansen Capital Flows:
Nansen’s terminal provides great analysis on net capital flows.
There are several AI coins that have reasonable net inflows over the past 7 days:
Fartcoin: The “Stink Index” is known as a leading indicator, so perhaps with Bitcoin in the all time high waiting room it’s primed for the next leg up.
Fetch AI: Continual agentic solutions are being built on the FET tech stack with its mobile update making develoment more seamless.
A recent agent is DVLA vehicle registration developed on UK data:
AI16z and DegenAI: Someone has been tracking the agents trading history and it appears to be operating effectively.
The DegenAI token chart saw a pump just after July 4th and has since been hovering around the $12mm mark:
However the X accounts related to ElizaOS and affiliates remain suspended.
Virtual/GAME + Rekt: See below.
b) Cookie Mindshare Analysis
Currently, there are 1,782 AI Agents recorded on Cookie totalling $9.2bn:
This is a small increase of 4 agents & a flat market cap:
In a sea of red there are two standout tokens this week.
The common theme is that they are pushing the boundaries of what's possible within their respective market segments.
Rektguy: The Rekt Litepaper has been published. Liquid Brand Equity being the novel concept.
Virtuals: Agent Commerce Protocol (ACP) goes live with thousands of Autonomous transactions & three veVIRTUAL governance proposals passed.
More info on both REKT and Virtuals can be found here.
