ZK becomes a hot topic of conversation this week as AI (temporarily) dips below 30%:
Irrespective of social metrics, the overall AI market cap has surged by $4bn (+9%) in the past 7 days, with several projects achieving double digit returns:
TAO remains at the front of the pack as its ecosystem pushes to 129 subnets.
Infinite Hash has dropped off from its run last week, while a few of the more recent less known subnets take the lead with triple digit returns:
Key Themes:
There are several notable themes coming through this week that overlap between traditional and decentralized AI:
a) Model Improvements
This aligns with OpenAI’s recent achievements of Gold also.
What does this mean?
It’s likely that as AI continues to evolve it could begin to solve mysteries embedded in logic or expedite our own scientific discoveries.
I’m adamant one of the biggest unlocks for AI will be one-to-one tuition for kids with an insatiable appetite for knowledge:
Or AI Waifu companions seem to be gaining traction; just make sure it’s locally run.
b) The Agentic Future Evolves
c) Models Refined for Specific Niches
Recently Anthropic announced that they will be launching a version of Claude specifically for Financial Services:
As models are developed independently they will likely find they excel in areas, moreso than others.
This will likely further push models into specific use cases within a range of industries.
d) AI Development Bottlenecks
AI is showing no signs of slowing, which will in turn drive exponential progress in every field.
Brain drain could be a hindrance for some companies as the best are poached from each Big Tech institution.
